Lent - Day 21
(Mark 7:14-23)
Jesus flips the script

Jesus didn’t come to ear for behavior modification, He came for transformation. He came to purify us completely starting with the very deepest recesses of our hearts. Apart from Jesus we are fill with “evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile us” (Mark 7:21-23). Jesus wants to eradicate evil in the world and He’s doing it by starting in our hearts.
